Shin Megami Tensei Online

Anyone hear anything about this? I got an email about the open beta that started about a month ago, and I'm finally getting around to downloading it and trying it. Anyone else hear anything about it? It's a free mmo with item mall eventually being done here by Aeria. Looks like it also has a floating alignment system that dictates what demons you can or can't use.
If sacrificing souls to revive evil, ancient demons is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

Interesting concept, wonder how it will work in the end. Been playing Persona 3 for about a month and was going to move on to 4 when I finish that. Now I may have another one to try. Going to have to look into this.

My brother said it was pretty cool. The battles are fun, and there's plenty of story there so at least you kind of know what's going on (I say kind of because, let's be honest, this is Shin Megami Tensei we're talking about). The only bad parts were that it was easy to get lost, and you can't strafe. Other than that, he highly recommends it.

From what I've played it's really not bad at all. Not being able to strafe does get annoying, and trying to make a mage character which I tried at first can get expensive because you go through mp potions like tic tacs just due to how hard it can be if you pump too many stat points to raise MP. It's one of the better free mmorpgs I've played though.

I tried that a while back when i was just getting started in Perfect World Int. The client took 3 hours to download. After that i stopped trying i thing its still taking up space on my HD.
